In a sensational new legal action, families of 800 victims of the 9/11 terror attacks are seeking to hold the Government of Saudi Arabia responsible. The suit was filed in Manhattan federal court and details the circumstances whereby Saudi officials allegedly aided some of the hijackers prior to attacks.
Additionally, the court documents claim that Saudi embassy authorities aided hijackers Salem al-Hazmi and Khalid Al-Mihdhar for 18 months prior to the attacks on 9/11. It is alleged that authorities helped them find living quarters, learn the English language and acquire credit cards and cash. The documents further state that these same officials provided training on how best to blend into the American culture.
